Jesus Is Alive
For Christians, the resurrection of Jesus Christ is one of the most important events in history. Though our sin nature restricts us from maintaining a relationship with God, the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus set us free to know Him; but sadly, we often continue to live in bondage. Therefore, in order to fully experience the power of salvation, we must explore how the power Christ demonstrated at His resurrection can overcome that which ensnares us as we seek to bring Him glory. As believers, we must tap into the resurrection power for today.

Relationship First Aid
Christ has called us to change, and a result of the fact that we need to change is that we will have conflict in our relationships. The second half of Colossians addresses the basic relationships that humans maintain and offers instruction as to how to manage conflict in each of these different types of relationships. Conflict is never fun to deal with, but minimizing conflict is essential to properly representing the love of Christ and the glory of God.

Jesus: Better Than My Past Life
In Colossians 3, we learn that change is hard: really hard. Yet, in order to truly embrace the new identity believers have in Christ, we must change through the ceaseless process of sanctification, which requires us to cast off our old selves and assume new qualities that reflect the holiness of Jesus. As children of God, we must never return to our former ways because the life we now have in Christ is infinitely better than anything we had before.

He Has Come For Us
The only Son of God incarnated Himself over two thousand years ago and was born to the world as the Creator coming down to the creation. Simply presenting Himself to us would have been so much more than the human race deserved, but as our Savior, He did not come empty-handed. Instead, with His life, death, and resurrection on this earth, Christ provided for us the seven most perfect gifts that meet and surpass the needs of every human. Discovering those gifts this Christmas season is essential to fully understanding and appreciating the birth of Jesus the Messiah.
