Pastor Hayden Norris
Senior Pastor
352.283.1913
Hayden grew up in upstate New York attending church and following tradition. It wasn’t until he was 25, however, that he came to know the Lord as his Lord and Savior while serving in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman.
Before ministry, Hayden held many different jobs including a stint as a character actor at Walt Disney World. He had dreams of becoming an actor so he thought this would be his great break. God had other plans for him though, calling him to leave all that “glory” behind to serve in the military, go to seminary, work as Student Ministries pastor in Michigan, and in 2011 to plant Harvest Gainesville. After arriving in Florida to pastor a church in Micanopy and after much prayer and consultation with Harvest Bible Fellowship, the decision was made to move and re-plant the church in Gainesville as Harvest Bible Chapel Gainesville. With a passion to see others ignite a love for Jesus in their own personal lives, Hayden is driven to see lives changed by the power of Jesus.
Hayden enjoys taking his wife and two kids to Gator sporting events and also trying out new restaurants in the Gainesville area (we would love any suggestions you have). The passion of Hayden and Heather is to see people grow in their relationship with the Lord and to serve Him with the gifts that He has given them. Come join us at Harvest as we pursue the Savior together and point others to Him.
